INKJET PRINTING
Inkjet printing produces photo-realistic graphics with brilliant colour intensity, especially in the red range, and is a popular choice for large format display graphics because it is so versatile. Inkjet printers use CMYK inks to produce full colour and can print onto a wide range of media including photo papers, backlit film, stop light film, vinyls, canvas and textiles. Depending upon the material used, full colour printing is suitable for both indoor use and outdoor use.
UV PRINTING
UV printing is a high quality, exceptionally durable and cost effective large format full colour printing process that uses environmentally friendly UV inks which are cured with UV light. As these inks are very UV resistant as well as water resistant and abrasion resistant, UV printing is ideally suited for outdoor graphics that can cope with all weather conditions. There are two types of UV full colour printing:
- Roll fed UV printing where graphics are printed onto a roll of media such as films, vinyls and PVCs
- Flatbed printing with UV inks, where graphics are printed directly to rigid or flexible, flat surfaced substrates, often PVC Foamex boards or ACM (aluminium composite material).
LAMBDA PRINTING
Lambda (LightJet) full colour printing produces the highest resolution display graphics on the market today for top quality photographic prints from digital artwork on photographic paper, film or Duratrans. It is ideally suited for large format display graphics as it gives sharp photographic images, continuous tone and high-impact colour prints. The use of laser technology results in an image that is crisp and precise edge to edge, with no distortion. Lambda prints are far superior in terms of clarity, sharpness and colour saturation to other large format full colour printing processes.
